What you can expect in a SCENAR TREATMENT

Your SCENAR practitioner applies the SCENAR device onto your skin until you feel a tingling sensation. It will be slightly uncomfortable but not painful. Your practitioner will “brush’ the device over your skin to identify patches of ‘stickiness’ and associated pain and discomfort levels.
The initial treatment will last approximately one hour. For acute injuries the treatment time is usually about 30 minutes with a course of intensive treatments. You are encouraged to inform your practitioner of any changes you feel/sensations you experience. The aim is to achieve any CHANGE in your condition during the treatment. Note: In some cases you may feel worse after the treatment.
Please do not be alarmed – this is actually a good sign! It indicates that your body is responding quickly and a change is occurring. This is what we are looking for after your first consultation and treatment.
You will be asked to keep note of any changes you experience after your initial treatment; good or bad. These will be discussed at your subsequent treatment(s). In most cases you will require a minimum of 3 treatments (some acute conditions may resolve sooner).
